The Wake of Annie Stewart Sunnyside
The sun had set over Natchez, Mississippi, but at Sunnyside, a grand plantation home, lights glowed brightly. Guests gathered for a Victorian Wake honoring Annie Stewart, a beloved community member. Inside, a solemn atmosphere prevailed, with rooms draped in black crepe and lace, softly lit to evoke the era. Dressed in elegant Victorian attire, attendees paid their respects to Annie, whose legacy had deeply touched the community. As they departed, guests carried with them the poignant memory of the Victorian Wake and the enduring impact of Annie Stewart’s life.
